hey deon iv caught a few barble on a inline fish spinner (those R10 jobbies) and hav had plenty strikes at it too.

i caught mine in the vaal river a little bit above the rapids, were the water is moving but not fast and no more than 1m deep. i actually figerd this out while trying 4 yellows, when i kakd myself after a barble miss striked about 2m infront of me. i carryd on fishing the spinner and the more i did the more strikes i got till i eventualy landed one, and wat a lekka fite it was. i didnt retrive very fast just enuf 2 turn the blade but also not 2 slow 2 get caught up on the bottom.

hope this can help u in sum way.

heres a pic was

caught on 7th dec 2008

Nice Baber bass54, just one thing and not to offend you but please don't hold a fish by it's gills! The gills are very sensitive and if damaged the fish could die.
