Me and scrat is going to try out " the groen gat " again, we havent had any luck there yet, just a small one, but that says there is bass...so we gona try it out again...

Grubs, dead ringers or lizzards, works really well, spinners chartreuse or black

hi guys so friday afternoon we were at RDW to pre fish for the cast for cash on saturday. fishing was tuff got plenty rats and mice but nothing decent... saturday we kicked off straight into a gully on the opposite side of the dam to the camping side. 4th cast bam fish on 1.77kg. i thought well maybe the day will turn out good... WRONG... managed to get out limit with fish only just making size. started culling at about 3pm and managed to get a bag together of 4.01kg not to good for RDW i thought. but we managed a 4th place finish for the comp with the winning bag about 5.5kg.

we caught all our fish on junior flukes and tiny brushhogs in watermelon red and candy colours... small texas weight 1/16 ounce and extremely lite mojo rigs.

Hey Man

Vaaldam was terrabale, a massive dam and no rods to fish it with. My rods where trimmed in the car door when we got there friday night.

I went to middleburg with the "Shark whisperer" and we nailed the bass - whom wants to fish or anybody that wants to learn how to catch bass Middleburg dam is the spot. We caught on DLN (all colours) Jerkbaits plastics loodkoppies fly - great venue for lots of fun and the water is nice and clean too
