I found some pics and websites that shows the records and sizes of the biggest catfish! And I added spain's record wels catfish, 226lb!

many thanks for the pictures and the both links. Unfortunately, the second (blog-link) don´t work.

Yes, the catfish in the river ebro (Spain) are real monster. But you have to get a good bite-time. It´s not so easy to get a real big one.

In Europe, the best river for catfish is the "Po" in Italy.

Sorry I have corrected the link it works now! I have heard that the wels catfish world record was caught in Italy! Hopefully I'll have enough money to travel to europe in a few years to try to catch a few of those monsters!

My wife and I did a boat trip on the Mekong Delta in Thailand. Plenty of catfish, but none like the those ones!

The picture looks a bit fake.what do you guys recon? I have seen fake images of massive carp claimed to be caught in the East.

The Mekong is flithy dirty, around the river homes or resturants there are litrally thousands of catfish feeding on food scraps to raw sewerage!
