Howzit Guys

I was recently given this rod by a friend. Not sure how good this rod is for bottom fishing can any of you guys please advise your experience with this rod if anyone has one or has used this rod.

Also please advise if I can use a Daiwa BG60 coffee grinder on this rod for bottom fishing.
