Grinder casting

Hi guys recently decided to fish with a grinder rod and reel for ineds,It is quite different from throwing a multiplier, and advice that you guys have that can assist me will be greatly appreciated, also for the guys who switched over to grinders how long did it take you to be cast well,,I find that when I am throwing the sinker goes to the right,, my set up is a saragosa 20000 and a assassin horizon zero, thank you

This is the craziest post I have ever read. I would say throwing a multiplier consistently is way more difficult. Just hard to image anyone struggling with a grinder after being able to master a multiplier?

1st section pendulum cast... 2and part of video what you are looking for... Way I'm casting grinder setup... or you can power cast straight over shoulder but I also experienced inaccurate casting direction as I am more proficient at casting multiplier. Leather glove 4.5oz sinker and converted easy pendulum combined with grinder is the way for me these days::tight:

Got serious distance using my multiplier SS 60/100/430 4.5oz sinker and easy pendulum but rod I thoroughly enjoy casting for distance is Saltist 13ft6 MLS 3-5oz grinder rod with low reel ..._seal1_

Spoolsong,

Timing is a little different when comparing a grinder with near-zero stretch braid vs a multiplier with stretchy mono.

I would suggest some practice in a field to get a sense of when to release as the Bionic Finger you have ZERO feel as to the tension on the line and in all likelihood you are releaing a little early.

I agree that some practice makes perfect.

but not on a field.
the braid does not come onto the reel nicely as the sinker is bouncing all the time.
this is my half penny.
the

rather do it at the dam.

Good morning, to all.

I had a look at the casting clips, my question is as follows:
For the guys that cast grinders, do you actually wait for the lead to swing into you and then cast, or do you wait for the lead and line to straighten to the back and then cast? We mostly do overhead casts.
