Hi, I have a Lethal 80 and its never let me down, the 100 is a heavy reel with a monster drag. For edible fishing I will rather opt for the 80. the reels mentioned id take any but my last choice will be the Sedona also have one and it feels rather cheap. What rod are you looking at? This will also assist in reel choice.

Hi Stephan, i am looking at pairing the reel with the Adrenaline Cero Samaki 13.8". i get the same feeling with Sedona , feels cheap, what do you think about the Rovex Big Boss 3 range, it seems good value for money?

Hi, It does seem good value, haven't fished with one, but have seen a couple of guys using them. Wouldn't go with a Finnor Lethal 100 as its to big, more the size of a Saragosa 20000. Hopefully someone will give personal experience with reel can comment for you.

Howsit, the Big Boss reels are solid. Bit heavy and slow for spinning but should be good for your purpose. I use a 6000 on a 12ft rod and it works very well. Decent drag and line capacity. 8000 size should be good for rods around 13 of 14 foot.Hit a search on YouTube for some reviews. They are popular in Australia. Some specs in the link below: https://www.jarviswalker.com.au/rovex-big-boss-3-spin-reels.html ![]() Last edited on Mon Mar 2nd, 2020 01:45 pm by Glassy |

A mate of mine uses the rovex big boss 2 for edibles, but last summer he threw a redeye head on a bank for a stumpie and hooked into a 76kg giant guitar the reel survived and is still going strong only thing that doesnt work is the actual clicker and that was on the 6000 size. Food for thought. Attachment: IMG-20190105-WA0009.jpg (Downloaded 130 times)
