I normally tie them, but yesterday I used saliva to close the pva bag. What a terrible taste that left in my mouth. Now I wonder if fish are not put off by the taste or smell of it since some of the smell might go into the freebies inside the bag once everything starts to melt etc.
I know lots of carp were caught using pva bags. I myself, not even a bite every time I use a pva bag.

No takers?

Let me ask another question on this same thread rather than opening a new one.

Is the Supercast monster mix PVA friendly?
