Good day.

I'm heading to Cape Vidal in 2 weeks time. Want to target Raggies and Giant guitar fish. Just want to find out if they are present at this time off year and what other non ed species are abundant now. Where will be my best bett to target them at Cape Vidal. All the info on Sealine is only off edible fish.

where do you want to go hunting for the sharks?
if you fish the bay, do it with heavy tackle or you will be cut off.
quite a lot of scattered rocks.
north of the bay is more rocks.
so low tide fishing is advised "spring low"

you could walk down to the light house "south"
again ledges, no nice places to land sharks!!!
also good on a spring low tide.

so Cape Vidal is not a recognized shark angling venue.
plenty of eds around, if you know where and how to hunt for them.

I would rather hunt the sharks on st lucia beeches.
we have been getting some sand sharks this season.
not the biggest.
lots of kingies yes.
the odd Garrick etc.

Dankie Willem.

Eks net daar vir n kamp saam die familie so om st lucia te gaan hengel is nie rerig n opsie nie. As jy ek was wat sou jy doen? Ekt 4 dae se vroeg opstaan in die donker en dan die stap tot by n gat. Dan kan ek hengel tot so 9uur se kant want dan is dit terug na die kamp en familie tyd met die kids. So ekt gedink non eds gaan n beter bett wees maar ek is oop vir opsies. Dalk n wave garrick slide vir n kingie of net n lekr chocka blob bait vir iets. So wat sou jy gedoen het wat nou bja kennis het oor die plek.
