Good move. Does the "register" link go direct to you WWS? If not, I suggest that it should.

You nailed it brother.... me working at sea for the past 3 decades... it's possible (mostly) to save some sinking vessels...LOL - But.... it's an "all hands on deck" approach not so?

It's just an evolving ship... I still like forums even if they are not jam packed with daily submissions.

I have often said this.... the thing with Forums vs Facebook, it's much easier to track back on a post a Forum, on Facebook it's posted today, 2 days later it's take you "hours" to scroll down, and that, if you are lucky you might find it, also on a Forum it's easier to follow a guy's DIY stuff for example or old posts eg. Knots + Traces, to name but a few.

Yeah... I don't do FB. I have a profile but only because one of my companies has an FB page. I simply don't understand the infatuation with FB.

chill mozzie!!!!

currently I am the only one monitoring Sealine.

I only delete spammer treads currently.
about 5 or so a week.

the new moderators search is still in progress.
it will not be done hastily!!!!

due to previous mods....we have suffered bad set backs.

as I have stated, we do not have personal attacks which we use to have.
everyone is behaving themselves!!!! thanks!!!

so we do not necessarily need many chiefs because our Indians are behaving well.

Sealine is quiet at times. yip, and it is the long weekend month, so expect a lower post rate.

when the winter fishing starts for natal, then I am sure things will start to pick up.

Within this THREAD .....are a few stalwart guys who also MONITOR this website! :fbash

Hope you have a lot of spare parts for your bilge pump...you're going to need it!!#

you are quite right, that older members and new members will be following this tread, the more we write and make comments, the more they will follow it.

ek moet se, ek is regtig terleurgesteld in jou opinie!!! en die wyse waarop jy jou opinie gelig het!!!

the older members should be keeping a positive outlook on matters and not post negative comments like this above

I do not see that from you.
what ship is sinking here?
the information in sealine is priceless!!!!

you cannot buy it anywhere and it is not contained in books or face book!!!
searching back to treads, like you have shown us is easily done!!!

i honestly think that the moderators aspect has just flown out the window for you.

each of us has the right to write his/ her opinion.
when we do it in a negative way, all tends to be negative.
so lets not go there.

cheers....ek watch julle, lol

;);)

IMHO the opening of this post/thread whatever you want to call it is completely unnecessary.

Here some points to ponder:

1.We are logging in as members probably daily sometimes more than once, if not every other day.
2.We also know that when we login we click on the Recent button to see "what's new"
3.If you had any sense you would just have sent [that] message to any new member wanting to login......as this issue has nothing to do with existing MEMBERS of the Forum.
4.We as members of the forum are concerned with the management and control of probable spam.
5.We also unanimously agree that joining persons be "screened".

..............and lastly .....

6.You have stirred up a sh"t fight over nothing.
