hi Guys,

Just for opinion. I see Conoflex (hi-Line) is bringing out cooked particles , hemp, maize etc. What do you prefer to use and which one is cheaper buy and cook self or buy already prepared particles

It will depend on how you want to fish?
These buckets are usually a mix of hemp/Tigernuts/mielies/maples

The most exspensive is the tiger nuts at R50-60 per kg hemp is R50 per kg and the rest is really cheap.

Also remember the 5 kg is the weight of the whole bucket and I will guess that 30-40% by weight is water plus its full of preservatives to be able to stay on the shelf for months.

Its definitely cheaper to do it yourself Plus you know how fresh your bait is and its easy to customize if you require.

If you don't have the time to soak and then properly kook your particles i guess you can buy the already prepared buckets but they are expensive and quality and quantity isn't really that good.

That's my personal opinion.

I only prepare my own and I usually use equal amounts of hemp and tiger and sometimes I will add in some mielies.
The mielies depending on how much I need I will take a couple of cans of sweetcorn dump out all the water and boil them for 10 mins in really sweet sugar water or if you want add another flavor.
