Hi guys...I just moved to East London, kids beach. I need to join some local fishermen or clubs to show me around. Any pointers? I have heard that the fishing is great in these areas but dangerous to fish alone. is this true?

I agree with Brandon79. Best is join an angling club. You meet like minded guys, and your learning curve, in terms of the spots, new tips and tricks will shoot up exponentially. Ive learned fishing is about giving and sharing. HTH

Another good option is to fish all the RASPL events. Go google Border Blacktips (https://www.facebook.com/groups/729871870436809/). All the info on the picture on above facebook link They are fishing Morgans bay tomorrow (aka Double mouth). So if you do a bit of fancy footwork, you can still make it. You will learn alot by seeing what the anglers around you are doing. Regards
