Hi ladies and gents.

Iam looking for any brand of coffee grinder reel. It should be in a good condition and I'll pay for the shipping if it's not in my area. It should be a minimum spool size of 8000. Iam planning to do some rock and surf fishing with it. Mainly edibles, but if I hook a large shark or ray, I want to be able to bring it out.

Please whatsapp or pm me if you have something for me.

Just a heads-up... 8000 Daiwa size is the equivalent of 25000 Shimi. If you're referring to 8000 Shimi size then the equivalent will be 4000-4500 Daiwa. I don't have experience in other manufacturer sizes but maybe you should be a little more specific in your search. Tight lines.

Thanx for the info. Still new to the saltwater fishing. If I say 8000, iam refering to any equivalent to the Daiwa. I am looking for a big enough reel for saltwater fishing for bigger edibles and smaller non edibles.

One of the best value for money offerings of late has been the Daiwa BG series that was launched a year or two ago. The previous series was good but not quite up to the specs of the recent ones. I'd say a good intermediate would be the 4500, provided it's paired with an appropriate size rod. Don't forget to factor in the price of braid. A good quality (but cost effective) braid is HMP, manufactured locally and very affordable.
