Hi All
Just a quick update
There is one AFAW rock rod available at ESA.
The rod was originally sold but had to be "re-possesed".
It is un-used ( still has tags and stickers on ) and has been built up by Francois Burger.
The rod has fuji guides , EVA foam grips and a trigger winch.Beautifully built as is but for the guys who know their gear and fish competitivly you can upgrade it with ease to a better grip.

Interesting to see the AFAW brand is going well with you guys. The Big beach is a very nice Rod. In the UK and Ireland, they are going well, but Century seem to be going better.

Are the AFAW rods being used for Shark Fishing??

Excellent Stuff. Will they handle the bigger sharks as well? The blank looks heavily loaded as is with the Bronzie in the pic.

One of the main reasons I use AFAW is the fact that I cant seem to break one , so yes I do think it will handle big fish

Famous last words ::S  Nice to hear they are working well for you.  They are an excellent rod and have a good reputation...  I must have a chat to a few of my casting friends to see if any of them have tournament cast with the AFaw Big Beach.  I would be interested to see how they go.
