Hi All,
Anyone here been to inhambane, guinjata lodge and beach launched there?  AND without a breack-neck?
I hear the beach there is very friendly for beach launching, but - is a breack neck stil a must?

19ft Indigo 600 is the boat..

Hi

Launching at guinjata is normally fairly easy but can get hairy sometimes.

It depends on the weather. Personally I would not as you cannot predict the weather and with no brackneck you will need to be fairly deep into the water to load and this can cause all sort of problems.

Thanks Visserman,

On nice weather days - how does the guinjata bay look (I hear its a bay, have not been there before) ?   is it sheltered and very quiet on good days?

on good days the bay is literally like a dam.....your biggest problem could be beaching at high tide....the beach forms a "lip" and loading your boat could be a problem then
maybe just time your launching and beaching with the tides ?

Thanks Lebaka,
We can definitely (will have to rather) work with the tides to make it as easy as possible if we don't have a breakneck.
So, go out at high tide and back 4 hours later as the low is approaching?
