Good day gentlemen,

I want to go look for some fish on Wednesday afternoon - early evening. High tide is at 16:00. the wind has blowing SE for the past few days.

I am limited for time as I live in Caledon and do not want to drive too far. 50Km's max. So my options are, Kleinmond, Palmiet, Hermanus(Useless area) I think and possibly Betty's.

I will have some fresh chokka and sard as bait. No time for bait collecting though(I would have loved to have some prawn and wonder worm for some steenies). I understand the cob is back, I usually fish Franskraal for them but I really want to fish a different area for a change.

have any of you fished the area lately?

Your input would be appreciated

So, steenbras will probably be a no go due to the bait situation.[img][/img]
