Kleinmond this weekend

Hi guys
Its been a while since I was last at the waters edge:?
I'm heading to Kleinmond & would like to know if there has been any gallie action going on of late. Tips on baits to use will be much appreciated. I would also like to know is circle hooks will help as I got 1/0 & 2/0 that have been lying in my tackle box for don't know how long & would like to know how to bait these guys up. ( just string it on or make dingle dangles??? )
Any advise will be welcome.

So far the whole cape is going to have huge swell of 4 meters and up, so I would definitely give this weekend a skip, unless you off on Monday when the swell drops and all the holes are opened then again some people believe you must go in the storm!
Nothing wrong with hook size, just depends on the make you using, but every one has their own opinion. Just make sure you snell the hook properly or it will slip out the fishes mouth.
If you targeting Galjoen and want your bait to float you can just use those floating beads that you slide on you line but personally id go with no float and just leave the action to the water current.

Dawid's kraal in Betty's bay might be your best bet because it's reasonably protected if you can avoid the floating kelp that's bound to be there. With swells IN EXCESS OF 4 M everywhere most places will be unfishable.
I'm going to steal a few hours on Tuesday as the weather and swell looks to be great then and there might be some nice new holes washed open

Your best bet if u willing to suffer the wind is Betty's bay with wonder worm. Got a 2 kg there two weeks ago. Past the northern side of the beach to the left of the walkway to the picnic area.
