Just throwing something other than surf and spinning rods out there for something different. A sneak peak...

This is the first rod of many to be built.

I built this rod a little different from the norm. The Cape Tuna fishery is very different from the rest of the world. We have the commercial. Recreational. Charter. Recreammercial. I repair 100''s of tuna rods that all suffer the same breakages due to the same faults. This rod is built to last and withstand the abuse. I don't want to give to much away at this stage but here she is.

Calstar Blank. ( can't divulge model yet)
Heavy duty boat rod guides. ( Super durable and fail safe)
Nylon but ( super durable- no damaged Eva from rod holders)
High density Eva foreground for comfort)
Heavy duty size 16 roller tip.

Stay tuned for more...:)

Very impressive, beast of a rod!
Here in the south-east corner of Australia we have a growing southern bluefin tuna population, with fish up to 130kg now a frequent occurrence.
I imagine over here there would be a good demand for a quality tuna rod too
