No problem at all with Parsun. I found it to be good value for money. Agents are Motor King and Marine in Pta (Edit: same guys as for your Tohatsu)

i was reading up about Force engines now and they were last owned by Mercury Marine and then removed from the market about ten years ago. i haven't seen many of them around, so i would expect spares to be a little hard to come by.

my understanding of Parsun outboards is that they are black yamahas - so parts should be easy to come by

Parsun is good. Been around for a while, they are indeed based on Yamahas.

2 Stroke, been told that some Yamaha guys buy the Parsun part to use for their Yamaha as the parts are cheaper.

Force, dont know much about them, but also heard that Mercury had them at some stage, but dont know how true that is?

Here is what I got of the interweb.....:welcomesea:

The Force name appeared when U.S. Marine, makers of Bayliner boats, purchased the Chrysler outboard plant in 1984. Chrysler continued to make engines under the Chrysler marque, however. U.S. Marine owned the Force brand until 1988, when Mercury Marine acquired it. Mercury Marine dropped Force Outboard in 1996.

You would do very well to stay clear of Force motors! It was Mercury's entry level brand for a while, but pulled due to poor sales after proving to be most unreliable.
