Hi Guys!

Does any of you have an Berkley Anaconda 13'6 that can shed some light on the rod. It's rated 2-6oz but that's about what I can get from the internet. There's no reviews, no pictures, nothing!

Does it have an bionic finger? Would you recommend it? How does it cast? Price?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

B

H, as you know I'm a bit of a "red light district chic" when it comes to tackle! I heard of this rod and have to say I'm rather intrigued by a rod that can cast a 2oz weight just as well as a 6oz!

I picked up the 15'6 big brother and WOW! Can't believe a rod of that length can be so light, simply amazing!

I am looking for a 13-14ft rod that can cast 4-5oz and stumbled over a Anaconda...

Hi, bought this rod recently.. It does not come with a bionic finger. Excellent rod and yes it can throw from 2-6 oz.. Super light and great action to the rod. No problem in handling smaller ineds.

Is the standard version designed for a multiplier, whats the deal with the flip-guide and no bionic finger?

Yes it's a grinder rod. I fitted my own bionic finger. Guys please note this one is not the new venoms that just got released. Those are called venom black edition but nothing really changed on the specs just the colour from purple to black.

Its super frustrating when you hear about a new rod (or any equipment for that matter) and want to see what it looks like, or read up about it and there is nothing available online.

It's not the first time that the Purefishing website is outdated! They still lists Berkley Trilene braid as new... I might be wrong but I think it's been on the market in SA for more than 3 years already! It boggles the mind that in today's competitive market there are companies neglecting their most important marketing tool...

I ended up buying a Poseidon Azure 14ft Medium that is rated 3-5oz. There are loads of info on it online as well as review videos. My local had a sample which I could pick up to get a feel for the rod and I was so impressed I bought it right there.
