Hi Everyone.

This is my first post on Sealine and i know there are topics about this subject but they are a few years old. I am kind of new to saltwater spinning and shore fishing and would like to hear from the guys with experience for tips. I'll be going to Jeffrey's Bay in December and I'm really into Spinning but I've only done it in river streams and bass dams. I would like to try spinning from shore for saltwater game fish when I'm in Jeffrey's but i would like to know if ill be waisting my time or if there is any good spots for me to try and spin when I'm there.

Any Advice will be Appreciated.

here is a late reply to spinning off the beachg in Jeffreys Bay.

targets cob and garrick using paddle tails and bucktails..best times on the low tides .area to fish is kabeljous beach,u have about 8km of walking the surf,no rocks to deal with and in summer the currents are not too strong. you will get wet so good splash gear recommended and it is summer so not heavy wet weather gear..
a light 9-10ft spinning rod and a decent 4000 reel of your choice..
if you needs more info let me know..otherwise see u on the beach.
there are 2 very decent tackle shops.
1.TJ tackle at the Mall
2.Commercial Marine da Gama rd.
