Hi All,

Ok so there is an setting you can set on your ETEC to use conventional two stroke oil.

I left it on XD100 as this is I believe the best for the motor. No hassles so far. The thing is that the XD100 oil is extremely expensive.

Has anyone done this? Is it working well?

Thanks - could I hear from the 3 ETEC fans out there.... ;)

A etec fan ? ??????
You can set your motor to tcw3 oil like quicksilver oil the engine just uses more oil that's all
I had mine set to tcw3 and still used the HD100 the savings are marginal in the big picture
