Hi Estian.

4k for proper bite alarms WITH a receiver new is so to say impossible (if you want them new) Not so long ago I was also looking into proper alarms with the same budget as yourself.

New, you will find nothing,(big name brands)

I bought cheapies(almost bought the att silent alarms, and decided against it), until i find someone selling a proper 2nd hand set(still looking)

Delkims i will not touch(i believe they are good) BUT the are so BIG and ugly that you will almost need an extra vehicle to carry them with.

importing is a option, and used you may find some good deals.

maybe check the UK gumtree/junkmail sites and see if you can make a deal with someone if your willing to import.
