Hey Doc....

Not for me......:X

This is for a friend of mine for the Kraantz. I reckon these are the next generation Kraantz and tail rods....:)

Nice build there but why did he want LC's on a multiplier rod?

Hey Tim.

Height. Small ring.

I know alot of guys question this.

My opinion is this.
Fishing Rooikraantz often for Yellowtail means fishing in the wind most times.
So the reason is. Reversed. Takes out most line friction and tangle probabilities with line been blown sideways. The height benefits this and keeps line clear from contact with blank. Small ring assists with line control from wider spools and controls line better in wind .Definitely these guides for casting in windy conditions.

Also just built a second rod with only Kw guides so will be interesting to see difference albeit different blanks. Test casting the Lc set up has proven better than MN guide layout. Thats the most important factor or test. Actual test casting.

I love how you have done your epoxy work on those LC guides. Looks like your epoxied the underwraps first then coated the overwraps on their own. I love that little seam around the overwraps. I'm re-building a big Loomis Franklin for a mate with LC lowriders and I think I'll follow your lead with that epoxy approach

Thank you. I do all my guides like that. I like the clean look it gives and eliminates all that thick epoxy build up around the frame.

Go for it!:)
