Umzimkulu river parking

Good day,

I was wondering if anybody knows whether there is a safe parking lot or somewhere I can park my car to launch my fishing ski and fish the Umzimkulu river in Port Shepstone?

There is a turn off to to the right not far before you reach the bridge on the old road. It runs next to the golf course. The road should take you down to the bridge right next to the river.

That River is awesome to fish. Anything from a Garrick to Small Zambizis.

Do yourself a favor, check out "the sardine" web site. On there you will find a charter that does guided trips on the river. Give him a call and you should get some good info.
