Nah, I'm only kidding ;) Not such a huge fan of the Heru's, stocking up on Orion's, MBC, GPC, Amegari and so on instead.

hahaha giving up fishing

yeah had a few heru's they do not last long , good lures but alot of flaws in them.

love the Master Bait Custom lures , got a few now and some more coming soon , started the collection on the Amegari , JackFin and GPC lures , bought a few from John Cahill from EBB tide tackle cannot wait to test them on the yellow fins in the Pemba channel in Zanzibar in October. i like the mister joe , Nambas , big foot and GTX from Eric that makes Orion lures

going after the Craftbait and Strategic Angler and Carpenters now , bloody expensive but so good looking and they operate in the water.

The Heru's are fantastic lures to be fair, very easy to work and proven fish catching ability. But, like most wood lures, they don't last. Strategic Angler makes some awesome lures, but I'm not into Craftbait (suffers seriaaas hook rash) and Carpenter (over hyped and priced in my humble opinion).

All lures have their issues , even craftbaits have wiring issues , wire breaking and stretching but the originals are still the best.
Carpenters are nice but not a fan i like looking at them hehe.
Trying to get my display case finished for all my used and destroyed lures and a few of my to pretty to throw lures
;)

Going back to Gabon in Feb next year, planning to unleash the Orion army on the tarpon there. Learnt some valuable lessons on my last trip, so I'm hoping to make it count this time.

Got a bunch of Amberjack lures, I absolutely love them! Got my big geet in Oman on a Amberjack dreadnought stick and recently picked up some of the little 60g spitfires from Roy at JigStar Africa.

Also got couple of FCL Labo in small and large sizes, Tacklehouse, Siren etc...I'm a proper junkie mate.;)

Bigger Amberjacks...the dorado got chowed by a 45kg geet and the black spitfire's been inhaled by a bunch of different fish.
