Dr. Hoff ~ I will be planning a drive to the EC to drop off a few rods as well as wetting a line in the St Franny area ~ and hope to bump you for some of those yellowwoods if at all possible.

My House on The Hill's garden is progressing slowly with indigenous tree planting, as well as shrubs.
I know those yellowwoods are slow growers, but they are hardy and do well in my area too.

:)

100% mate, give you SL discount ;) haha

Let me know when you do come up past the woods..

Mine are all from cuttings, so have the full vigour of an adult tree. Also there are many personalities I see in the just two species, so you can pick ones that have a look you dig, ie. not from seed from one or two trees, and homogenous seedlings, I have quite a variation of looks from taking cuttings off many trees here. I have a only a few of the podocarpus henkelii but not enough for sale, enough to share though. Have one or 2 stragglers left of stinkwood, kershoud etc.. Mix bonemeal, lime, good compost and throw a fish carcass or fish head to give it a "head start" in a nice wide hole and deep enough hole when you plant them and they take off. They will have one big growth spurt every springtime.. I have some leftover carnivore plants too and cacti, you can grab for your garden.

Gold count coming along slowly.

It varies what you are looking for. If its a basic inland machine 3500, wetsand and beach 10000 and then diving 22000 up to 50k.

Secondhand is also way to go. Look at Minelab, Fisher and new kids Nokta.

Hey all, I never really left. Always pop in but not much to say. I am one of the originals.

But although fishing is my greatest passion, I too have taken a few extra hobbies. Times change friends change etc.

Even the boat has changed...

Also restoring my Honda RC51 SP2
My Father passed away in a car crash so I've also been travelling to our farm a lot.

Will be getting back into it...
