Good day Guys,

I am planning on going to Die Hoek at Bloemhof in December
for a week and would like to know from other anglers that has been there before, how the place is in terms of accomodation in the Chalets, what bait works best for the Big Snorre (Catfish) and how deep to cast more or less

Thanks in advance

Hi There,

Bloemhof fishing in summer is amazing!there are a few chalets along Die Hoek- I stay at Plekkie in Die Son- its awesome accommodation for the price. Maritjie(owner) will assist you 053 433 0075.

As for the cats- everything from worm, plaaties, day olds, grass carp head/fillet/intestines work. The cats are not picky and will eat any big, bloody bait you throw at them. target cats from about 5pm.

Good luck
