What size drone are you planning to use? What size weight are you looking to take out? First check how much your drone can easily lift, bearing in mind it will 9 battle some sort of wind. I used a normal sliding rig for edibles. My boss uses his normal shark trace with a sliding 8oz right at the back,so when you hang your rig its held by the weight and not your bait, works out to be more stable than clipping your bait in. Anything from mackerel to half a yellowtail, again depending on what kind of weight your drone can lift comfortably. Before you go try all this,do try out your whole system on a big field and perfect the dropping of your baits and flight controls. Trial runs are a must

I'm using a Cuta Cotper It can carry up to 1kg, I don't see myself sending out more than this anyways The bait also is put into a drop box so it doesn't really hang below the drone

Bait presentations are endless. Same as you would for a slide or throw, just bigger. Traces you can mix between kitefishing & boat traces even send a slide trace out. Try different traces out and see what work for your conditions and Area.

a concern I have is the rig getting twisted and kinking the wire etc. trying to find a rig that I can drop out about 350m and not worry about getting messed up.

Some can get really twisted if you drop on a washing bank. I tried plenty and settled on one that hasnt tangled so far. Its 3m long steel with a swivel in the middle so it completely folds over with a limited sliding sinker... seems to work..

great just a few questions > How many lb steel > where in the 3m wire is the break for your sinker > how long is the sinker line

Nno sinker line...its a limited slide sinker...so it slides between the two swivels.
