Hi Guys Do any of you fish off a vx700? I am aware that they are 2 stroke and not really bothered by the smoke. From a reliability and fish-ability point of view are these skis suitable? I have seen a few on Gumtree that are reasonably priced and would really like to get into jetski fishing, would I regret going this route? Any advice would be appreciated! Gavin

Hi Gavin, a very good ski to start with. the 2 stroke does oil up from time to time if you run her rich and you constantly pull baits slowly. Apart from that, its easy to launch and light on fuel. A very good starting platform. Enjoy.

Hey Brown Dog, Thanks for the response. It was suggested that to avoid the fouling of the plugs you can use plugs that are slightly hotter that the normal ones.
