From the old JHB/PTA road, take the road to Olifantsfontien (don't know it road number) after about 2 k's keep looking out to your left hand side and you will see the dam.
The dam is actually for water skiing - via a cable and pully system, it can get a bit hectic on weekends, but there are bass in there. Carefull at the wall - lots of rock/building rubbish, good place to fish and to lose tackle

If you go to Anglers Den in Centurion (I think thats what it's called, but anyway there are only two fishing shops in Centurion and the other is Bass World) - used to be owned by Charles Stewart (he of great fishing fame). Two of the shop assistants are the guys who control this club - or at least they were, but their game is specimen Carp angling in this dam.
Talk to them, thats how I got there.
Last time I was there though I just paid an enterance fee (R40 I think) and could fish for the day, as long as I stayed on the ski resort side of the dam????
