Medium and Heavy setup Suggestions.

Hi Gents.

As of late I have not been able to get to the water that often for longer carp sessions. I have been out and about the last year or so on short bass sessions with some success. Currently I have a lightweight setup that i bought for very lite bream fishing. Now this setup works great for what it was bought for, unfortunately I cant cast a 7" fluke with it not even to mention trying to keep a decent size bass from timber.

I want to get a medium heavy setup and a heavy setup(just for those days that you get the opportunity to cast a #6 tigerwakka at the boney jaws.

Budget is around 2k per setup(rod and reel).

Any suggestions?

Howsit, now ive got a fairly unpopular setup as almost all bass anglers in sa love shimano, quantum and abu... but i have a sensation combo

Sensasion lubina reel,Sensation magma 7ft MH ... Ive had it for 4 years and its incredibly sturdy! Also i got it from ganis in witbank for R1200!

I feel its a great medium heavy setup... just my 2c::slr::_seal1_
