The single foot hookeepers are not for holding hooks but for clipping your quicklink onto, it just slides on and when travelling no need for hooks catching onto anything. Ive ripped my shorts, bag etc....by the hooks catching them...:)

The split grips are spaced exactly according to my measurements and casting stance so they specifically spaced for me.:)

Ver impressive, how long does it take you per rod? the entire process, stripping the old rod to what we see here?

Thanks!

Between 2 girls and wife....A while...but.......If I had to build professionally not too long.

Half day for stripping and cleaning.

Half a day for guide binding.

A day for a decorative wrap.
3 days for epoxy work.
I'd say a week to have a completed rod a dried ready to fish.

I could've done these within a week or less there abouts.

I like to move away from the rod for a bit otherwise you tend to miss things or your brain stops...good to step away then get back to it again....like solving a problem....

I really do enjoy it and feel great when you fish and catch on it...
