Is there anywhere in the Western Cape where one can catch Tilapia Mossambicus. Heard there might be some in Sandvlei?

In Stellenbosch there's a little pond with massive kurper, I can't say exactly what size, but if I had to guess I'd say 2, maybe even 3kg size. The pond belongs to a boarding house or something along those lines, I think it's called Moreson, but I'm not 100% sure.

That's maybe a little vague, I know, but it was a long time ago that I visited that little pond and I can't recall the exact details. I'd say it's worth investigating further if you're keen to get a big tilapia though.

Most farm dams have blou kurper. I have caught and seen fish well in excess of 3kg in many of the dams. Most farmers don't have an issue if you want to fish the dams. Just ask permission.
