Jet Ski and Aqua Quad restrictions at Vidal

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the Jetski and aqua quad restrictions at Cape Vidal?

Was at Vidal in Jan and 3 jetskis and an aqua quad launched one morning while we were launching our boat. I'm looking at getting an aqua quad and would be interested to know if the ruling at vidal has changed and they are now classified as boats?

I see there is some info on the forum but can't find anything more recent than 2/3 years ago.

Thanks!

good day,

the green sox approach is still the same, only 4 launches and they consider the aqua quad to fall within the launch restrictions.

hope that helps

unfortunately they don't like anglers!!!!
so it will never change.
a aqua quad is seen as a pwc, even though it has a outboard motor!

by the way, how was the fishing up there in Jan?

Fishing was not great at all, although apparently the weeks before we got there (November and December)it had been very good. Water was pretty cold and green for most of the week we were there, however the other boat we were with got a sail fish and a marlin on these days. Besides that all of the boats battled. Water warmed up on the last two days, managed some Dorado then.
