Hi all im still new to spearfishing and would like to know which wind clears up our Atlantic side, places like sea point, bakoven, camps bay and melkbos and which wind clears the false bay side and flattens the ocean.

I know a SW wind cleans up the east coast, don't know if opposite cleans there...

SE predominantly in summer cleans up western seaboard. Have a look at Clifton and camps Bay now-its crystal but cold.

NW cleans water in winter in false Bay over winter.

Never dived Melbourne but here it is often dirty

he dives in the cape waters! "spear fishing"

personally I wont dive there, we have a mutual agreement!
sharks don't visit the bar and I don't visit the open ocean apart from the boat! lol
