It has seemed to me for a few years that I don't get to dive as much as I used to.  Yes, work and my family keep me busier than I was, but it feels like the weather has changed.  I remember many more flat days than we seem to get nowadays.

I chatted about this recently to a mate of mine who is a diamond diver, and he has kept a log for over 13 years, and this bears out my observations.  He used to regularly get stretches of 4-5 days where they could dive, while now they very rarely get more than 2 days at a stretch!

Do you think this is permanent change or just a cycle?  Bearing in mind that my diving career of 20 odd years is miniscule in global time perspective!
