Good day everyone
Good grief I see it’s been 5 years since I posted here. Anyways here goes.
Recently got hooked on fresh water fishing again for the 10th time(Don’t live by the ocean anymore so that’s another story for another day)
Will be in the okavango panhandle end of september and with water steadily dropping will hopefully get to experience the barbel run for the first time. I have caught tigers before but never during the barbel run. Is the basics the same (always used effzett spoons) or do they prefer other lures? I know they feed aggressively during this time so traces of 30cm is recommended. Don’t want to pitch up unprepared. I have a vast majority of fresh water lures but loosing 10 lures a day is apparently quite normal. So would like to stock up on some known working lures during this phenomenon.
Thanks in advance
Wynand
