This pic makes me wanna fake illness, grab my tackle and go fishing ....

Got these two at Hlobane, Richards Bay early Sunday morning (01/08/10).  First one (5kg) on live shad and second one (7kg) on a dead shad.  Fishing with Assassin Surf HMG + Torium 30, 15kg - 0.48 Siglon, 0.70 leader + 2/0 trebble. 

A horrifying incident that occured at Hlobane, a popular fishing spot in a rural area on the outskirts of Richards Bay on Friday, 24th April 2009.  This just stresses the importance of not fishing alone.  I hope that there are no repercussions from the locals.  Anyone fishing in the area ...

Anyone know what specie this is?  Caught yesterday off the boat below in the Richards Bay area.  Fishing bottoms, depth about 50m - fish was in bad condition when it surfaced so we could not return it to the sea.  Got the local Parks Board guys to have a look but they couldn't identify it...
