I use a bait boat 95% of the time. Only cast when i do river fishing and then the max range required is 80 m. I also do a species so i need a rod that can haul in a 15 kg carp. So i want a rod thats sensitive not a broom stick but still strong enough. I dont like the designs of most species rods...
