I have bought myself the 12 ft. It is rated 3 ounce. I just came from Western Accesories and saw their are 3-4 ounce. Could any one give me any advise on this. I do not want to damage the rod by throwing a 4 ounce sinker.

Hi Guys   Have any one ever tried a Bass Bait Caster fro drop shot? I got one for free and wonder if it would work? the drag seems to be quite good on it. Sorry I do not know a lot about fresh water tackle. Also where are good spots for drop shot around Melkbos area? if there are any?
